IIn 1985, we used to buy raw bones and horns to sold them in whole India. We met some exporters in 1995 in a raw bone factory. The workers there were cutting a piece of bone with saws. I asked him what would you do with it. He told me that he will cut the raw bone directly and make a handle of a knife. After seeing and understanding all this, I told him that I can give you more clean cut for for making slabs, then he gave me the sizes to make some slabs. When I made them my slabs, I thought I could do something in it and since then I have been supplying my goods to 60% of Indian exporters. We had become a well-known manufacturer of India. So we decided that now we will export our products all over the country and abroad so that whatever exporters are telling themselves as manufacturers, they are spoiling the market and are cheating, they do not sell the products systematically, they are selling local and cheap products are procured from the nearby local manufacturers and export them, ending the future of the craft.
